About me -

I have been a childminder since December 2003 and registered through OFSTED to care for 4 minded children under the age of 8 years.  I am a mother to two boys aged 5 ½ yrs and 3 ½ yrs.

My setting that I mind from has ample space inside and out.  The ground floor is open plan giving plenty of space to play games and carryout various activities.  The garden is good for most external activities with a hard area for trikes and bikes and a grassed area for soft play.  Each child will have ample opportunities to experience various activities and learn new skills to the best of their ability and according to their development stage.

I have a wide and varied selection of play toys for all ages including various books and board games.  We do regular cake making and decorating sessions, trips to the local park and Library. 

I am able to accommodate children from 6months to 9 years.

I like to keep up-to-date with all new developments/changes and attend workshops/day courses to improve my knowledge.  The courses I have attended include various behaviour management, child protection, children’s emotions and out of school play to name but a few. I have had a recent OFSTED inspection with an outcome of GOOD.

All adults at the premises are CRB checked.  I hold a current First Aid Certificate, Food Hygiene Certificate and all necessary insurances.

Hours of opening are :- Monday to Friday  8am to 5pm  (other times by arrangement as these times can be flexible)
