About Us

Hello, from Nicky and Paul Burgess. We are OFSTED registered childminders operating from a secure home environment in Teignmouth, Devon.

We have a spacious house that includes two dedicated large rooms set aside for childminding, which means the children have lots of space to play and have fun! Our main toy room is equipped with a huge variety of toys and education materials and the second room is for quiet activities such as reading and resting. We have two outdoor play areas, one area houses a trampoline, climbing frame and a slide and the other area has space for the children to run around and play on cars etc. The children have access to a full range of outdoor activities all year round as we have a purpose built area for children to use whatever the weather.

We cater for children of 3 months to 14 years and offer childcare from Monday to Friday 7.00am - 7.00pm all year round. Weekends and hours outside of our normal working hours are available upon request. We also offer local school drop off’s and pick ups where necessary, as well as full time childcare within the school holidays.

Nicky is an accredited childminder, so can offer parents funded placements, in the same way as nurseries.

We have always received good OFSTED reports. We have a solid reputation for providing a caring, safe and fun environment for children in a home surrounding offering children of all ages a variety of activities to educate, stimulate and have fun!

Monday to Friday 7.00am - 7.00pm 50 weeks per year.
Weekends and hours outside our normal opening hours are available upon request.
