Cost: £3.00 per hour (food can be provided for an additional £1.00 per meal)

Provision is situated in a detached house in Buckfastleigh. Children have use of the ground floor of the house including a very well-equipped playroom and there is also a good size secure garden with wendyhouse, swing, slide, sand/water table, sand pit, ride-ons, balls, hoops and much more. Children are cared for in a supportive homely environment where they are stimulated and encouraged to develop and learn through fun, enjoyable activities and experiences. Activities include sand and water play, messy play, dressing up, role play, dancing, sensory experiences, treasure box, musical instruments, light up toys etc. Children are taken on outings to zoo, beach etc.

Childminder attends regular training courses and other sessions. Currently nearing completion of NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education and in the process of joining a Quality Assured Network. Other qualifications/training attended include: Childminder Foundation Course, First Aid for Child Carers, Birth to Three Matters Workshop, Behaviour Management, Working With Parents Programme, Quality Assurance Road show, Special Educational Needs workshop and Business workshop.
